Heading into 2020, I noticed that the domain name “misinfo.com” was on sale. As someone who covers misinformation and conspiracy theories in politics, it seemed like a great name to build on going into a big election year.

Then a pandemic happened.

With coronavirus misinfo and fake news running rampant (even Snopes is having a hard time keeping up), now seems like a good time to pitch in and launch this.
